Everyone’s so desperate to keep Crystal safe from the Dragon Hunters, they never stopped to think that the people and creatures in Quagon may be just as dangerous.

I’m fine to accept the job of searching for my lost brother at the behest of my parents, but they clearly are out of touch with the other realms. Zilferia may not be the easiest place to live, especially in light of everything the Dragon Hunters have done, but within a minute of diving into the watery realm of Quagon, I know this is worse.

There are a couple of adults to help Nathan and I blend in, but the King will stop at nothing to keep foreigners out of his realm. If we can’t lie about every aspect of ourselves and blend in with the other Quagonians, we’ll be pegged as fish out of water.

We can’t even find protection from the King in Quagon’s oceans should we turn there. Not with the monsters lurking beneath the waves.
