StoryCon was amazing!! Definitely my favorite convention so far. It’s absolutely perfectly suited for readers, writers, and especially readers who want to be writers!
I met a lot of awesome people, had one of my amazing readers helping me run the booth, and even had a few audiobook possibilities open up for me, which is very exciting! I still need to save up for it, but audio may be coming sooner than previously anticipated! 🤩

Jay, the artist I commissioned for all things Crystal Dawning Kickstarter, finished the two full illustrations that I decided the book would have immediately rather than unlocked through stretch goals! And I LOVE them! So I’m sharing sneak peeks here…but those following the campaign will be the first to see everything!
I also had a new logo designed, since I’m strengthening my branding, so I’ll drop you a sneak peek of that as well! (Campaign followers will also be the first to see the full thing, since it will also be used for new bookplates that will be introduced with the Kickstarter!)
Follow the campaign now if you haven’t yet! Remember, this ISN’T a commitment to pledge whatsoever. You can still choose whether or not to actually back the project once it launches. For now, it’s just a great way for me to deliver updates to those interested, and for Kickstarter to be more likely to give the campaign a boost when it launches!

Oh, PS—if you’d like a personal update, I’m praying that the end of my health issues is in sight. I finally got an ob/gyn to diagnose me with endometriosis. My surgery is scheduled for the end of May. I’m very nervous…because, you know, surgery…but I, my doctors, everyone I’ve talked to about it has high hopes that this will greatly improve my poor health
